The Research and Instructional Design (RID) team of Hamilton College’s Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) has acquired the use of a room on Burke’s third floor of the library for our Campus of the Future technology! With windows on two sides, we have a gorgeous view of the quad and the entrance to the library.

The Room of the Future with the Sprout Pro, zWorkstation, 3D Structured Light Scanner, and HTC VIVE

We’ve started setting up the equipment—there’s just enough room for a small-scale VIVE experience! The Sprout Pro, zWorkstation with DreamColor Z27x Studio Display, and the 3D Structured Light Scanner Pro S3 will also call this room home. A cabinet houses miscellaneous supplies and other technologies, like our 3D printer filament. Our Instructional Technology Apprentice Judy Zhou ‘19 will be getting comfortable in this space as she learns about our new tech!
